# València City Council processes grants to falla commissions for 2027: €2.69 million, paid before the plantà

**València City Council** has started processing the call for **grants to falla commissions** for the construction of the big and children fallas of 2027. The planned funding comes to **€2,694,438.49**, nearly €2.7 million, and will cover **30% of the tax base** of the amount declared by each commission, within the limits set by the call's terms.

Under the new timetable, the money should reach the casals before the monuments are set up in the streets.

The call will set out in its terms the requirements, documentation and conditions for awarding and paying the grants. The Fallas, needless to say, are inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and building the monuments keeps falla artists and professionals working all year round.
