The municipal falla of Fallas 2027 has its first confirmed detail, and it comes with a name attached: **Nino Bravo will drop the cigarette and hold a red rose**. Artist **Pere Baenas**, in charge of the monument that will preside over the Town Hall square, revealed it during the Sección Especial project presentation, where he brought a large-scale model of the municipal falla, still on show as part of Una Festa per a Tots at Nuevo Centro.

The figure is based on an iconic 1971 photograph taken at the Long Play nightclub as part of a record promotional campaign. In the picture, the singer sits in an armchair with a cigarette in his hand; in the large-format 3D conversion, the "flower" that goes with the "kiss" —as the song's imagery goes— replaces the cigarette. A small but significant change: it avoids showing tobacco use, an image that nowadays is not exactly politically correct.

Baenas put it plainly: "We were suggested to take it out. Honestly, it is something very iconic, especially from those years —when appearing smoking in practically any medium was normal— but if we manage to prevent a new smoker with it, I'll consider it well spent."

With this monument, Baenas returns to building the municipal falla three years after his last one, the "Dos coloms i una branca" of 2024, and he does so betting on a large iconic element. The 2027 municipal falla thus joins the Sección Especial proposals already presented, with the Nuevo Centro exhibition as the first big date of the new falla year.
