# JCF sends committees the permit guidelines for Fallas 2027 and calls the October plenary

The **Junta Central Fallera** sent committees the **guidelines for applying for permits for Fallas 2027** this Thursday 1 October, a document detailing application deadlines by type of authorisation: tents, fire zones, activity zones, markets, food stalls and buñuelo and fried-dough stands.

The guidelines arrive a week before the application window opens: the **València City Council**, for the second consecutive year, brings forward the application period for activity authorisations and public-space occupancy to **13 October**, with a deadline of **30 November 2026**. Among the changes already announced for 2027 are the **ban on drink stalls** —the so-called "mojiterías"— and the postponement of tent set-up to **11 March**, a week later than in 2026.

The JCF has also called its **ordinary October plenary** for **Tuesday 6 October at 7:45 pm** on first call (8:00 pm on second), at the JCF plenary hall. The agenda includes approval of the minutes of the 15 September plenary, the Presidency report, the delegates' reports and questions. The minutes of the previous plenary have been attached for consultation.

With the classification folders already handed out in May and the section grading approved, committees are now tackling the paperwork for the new cycle, which starts with one clear rule: anyone who misses the deadline is out.
