Next 8 October València will once again enjoy a night of gunpowder with the return of the International Fireworks Festival, which has not been held since 2023. It will take place on the Montolivet bridge, next to the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, kicking off at 11:30 pm with Pirotecnica San Pio (Italy) and continuing at 11:59 pm with València's own Caballer FX, in charge of closing the eve of 9 d'Octubre, the Day of the Valencian Community.

The comeback honours the commitment of the councillor for Fallas and president of the JCF, Santiago Ballester, to strengthen the presence of fireworks in the Valencian festive calendar. This year the festival's return takes on special significance: it arrives on the doorstep of the XX International Symposium on Fireworks, which will be held in València from 12 to 16 October and will bring together professionals and companies from the sector from all over the world.

As is traditional, on 9 d'Octubre the Town Hall square will once again vibrate with the mascletà at the end of the civic procession, this time in the hands of Pirotecnia Tamarit.
