# València brings back the International Fireworks Festival on the eve of 9 d'Octubre

Next 8 October València will once again enjoy a night of gunpowder with the return of the **International Fireworks Festival**, which has not been held since 2023. It will take place on the **Montolivet bridge**, next to the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, kicking off at **11:30 pm** with **Pirotecnica San Pio (Italy)** and continuing at **11:59 pm** with València's own **Caballer FX**, in charge of closing the eve of 9 d'Octubre, the Day of the Valencian Community.

The comeback honours the commitment of the councillor for Fallas and president of the JCF, **Santiago Ballester**, to strengthen the presence of fireworks in the Valencian festive calendar. This year the festival's return takes on special significance: it arrives on the doorstep of the **XX International Symposium on Fireworks**, which will be held in València from **12 to 16 October** and will bring together professionals and companies from the sector from all over the world.

As is traditional, on **9 d'Octubre** the Town Hall square will once again vibrate with the **mascletà** at the end of the civic procession, this time in the hands of **Pirotecnia Tamarit**.
