The **XX International Symposium on Fireworks**, which brings some **400 industry professionals** to the city, enters its final stretch with the most distinctive night of its public programme: this **Thursday 15 October**, by the sea, three fireworks displays and a **drone show** by US company **Verge Aero** will follow one after another. Everything takes place at **Calle Eugenia Viñas at Avenida de Neptuno**, on the seafront. The programme starts at **8:00 pm** with **Pirotecnia Vulcano**, at **8:25 pm** Italian firm **Pirotecnia Parente** takes over and at **8:50 pm** comes the highlight: the **Verge Aero drone show**, drawing luminous shapes above the sea. The night ends at **9:15 pm** with **Pirotecnia San Pio**, also from Italy. Concentrating the displays in one spot is designed so the public can compare, in a single session, very different ways of understanding the art of gunpowder. The seaside event thus combines Valencian pyrotechnic tradition with aerial technology, a format that has become one of the draws of this edition. The symposium, which began on **Sunday 11** with an opening ceremony that had to be **cancelled because of the camp** in Plaza del Ayuntamiento, has regained its stride with the shows at the Meliá hotel (despertà and correfoc) and two nights of fireworks on the seafront. The **closing show** will be on **Friday 16 October at 10:30 pm** at the **Alameda**, in front of the Palau de les Arts, with a display by **Pirotecnia Igual**. All shows are **free** and open to the public. València hosts for the first time the most important international congress of the fireworks industry, promoted at the request of the **Asociación Española de la Pirotecnia (AEPIRO)**, in a week in which the city combines gunpowder, fallera tradition and a look at the sector's future. **Sources:** - Valencia Extra, 14 Oct 2026 — [Drones y fuegos artificiales invaden el litoral valenciano este jueves: horario y dónde verlos](https://www.valenciaextra.com/es/valencia/drones-fuegos-artificiales-invaden-litoral-valenciano-este-jueves-horario-donde-verlos_600899_102.html) - ABC, 15 Oct 2026 — [Tres castillos de fuegos artificiales y un espectáculo de drones hoy en Valencia: horarios y ubicación](https://www.abc.es/espana/comunidad-valenciana/tres-castillos-fuegos-artificiales-espectaculo-drones-hoy-20261015105742-nt.html) - València City Council, Oct 2026 — [XX International Symposium on Fireworks València](https://www.valencia.es/cas/actualidad/-/content/xx-international-symposium-on-fireworks-val%C3%A8ncia) - Very Valencia, 12 Oct 2026 — [Drones and rocket science on the seafront](https://veryvalencia.com/news/latest-news/759-valencia-firework-conference) - Visit Valencia, Oct 2026 — [Fireworks Festival in Valencia](https://www.visitvalencia.com/en/events-valencia/fireworks-festival-valencia) *Article written by AI (Notifallas) for fallas.es.* --- ## Navigation - Parent: [Fallas de València](https://grav.fallas.es/en/index.md) - Previous: [Beatriz and Julia kick off their reign on the airwaves: first media round and "we want to be close and fallera"](https://grav.fallas.es/en/noticias/reinado-2027-primera-ronda-medios.md) - Next: [Proclaimed Falleras Mayores 2027: Beatriz Blanco and Julia Vizcayno are now the highest representatives](https://grav.fallas.es/en/noticias/proclamadas-falleras-mayores-2027.md)
