Torrent closed this weekend the third edition of its Showroom Fallero, an event that once again puts Valencian traditional dress, craftsmanship and the economic momentum the festival generates long before March arrives in the spotlight.**

## What happened

The Sala Cívica of the Antic Mercat de Torrent hosted from **15 to 17 May** a new edition of the Showroom Fallero, organised by Torrent City Council in collaboration with the Gremio Artesano de Sastres y Modistas de la Comunitat Valenciana. The event brought together brands, workshops and professionals linked to traditional dress, with an offer focused on fabrics, mantillas, accessories, blusones and handcrafted garments.

The event reached its third edition after consolidating a remarkable public response in previous years. According to the information released these days, the second edition drew **more than 15,000 visitors**, a figure that explains why the fair is beginning to establish itself as a benchmark for the sector and not just another commercial trade show.

Over the weekend, houses and professionals such as Andrea Indumentaria, Nicolina, Mantillas Domingo, La Merceria by Anitas, La Murta Indumentaria, 25 Alfileres, Fidela, Blusones Cocoliso, Amparo Gálvez, L'U i Dos, Carlos Salvador, Empar del Remei, L'Atelier de la Seda, El Tabalet, La Barraca d'Alaquàs, Sergio Esteve, La Clau, Mes Q Pintes, El Vestidor Faller, Alan Indumentaria or Mercería Rosa Tomás took part, among other names in the sector.

In addition to the exhibition area, the showroom included talks and workshops dedicated to the basquiña, the structure of the jubón and various techniques linked to traditional dressmaking. In other words: not only sales and display, but also the dissemination of the craft. And that, in a field where every detail counts, has much more substance than it seems.

Traditional dress is one of the most visible — and also most delicate — pillars of the festival. Behind every outfit there are workshops, shops, suppliers, embroiderers, silk merchants, accessory specialists and many hours of work that sustain an economy closely tied to the territory. It also comes at a very fallero moment: barely two months have passed since the Cremà, yet many commissions are already immersed in appointments, choosing bands, preparing events and the first decisions of the 2027 season.
